Design, News : Summer 10 encompus helps set the bar for The Trademark Group

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

Yes, brand awareness, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality legal services do go together. The Trademark Group, a law firm specializing in United States and International trademark registration and protection will agree. Having handled nearly ten thousand domestic and international marks for their clients, Founder and Attorney Marnie Wright Barnhorst, said “it was time to turn its focuse internally”. One prerequisite, to keep the original global concept they started with in 1997. Teaming up with encompus, we created a new Brand image for The Trademark Group that held true to the original concept and reaffirmed there global perspective and continued growth.

We kicked off the re-brand with a new logo-mark. Accompanying the globe icon we paid particular attention to the typographic style and simple color pallet as it carried over to the business card design and collateral. The outcome was on target and the new image well received. We followed up with a new, organized and structured website design. The website development included: site mapping, user interaction, content organization, copy writing, on-site photography, and HTML/CSS programming. We closed out the project by updating all of The Trademark Group’s internal documents and Microsoft Word templates including; a cover letter, terms and pricing sheets, detailed proposal layout, trademark registration forms, and a virity of other documents.

In the end, we increase The Trademark Group’s perceived value as a leading provider of cost-effective, efficient, and high-quality legal services. If you’re looking for a trademark registration and protection team, we highly recomment The Trademark Group.

Design, News : Summer 10 encompus gives to the Haiti Poster Project

Friday, June 18th, 2010

Marc Hedges designed a poster for The Haiti Poster Project, launched locally in January 2010 to help victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The donations are driven by designer participation on a international scale. Each participent creates and produces a limited edition poster, signed and numbered in quantities of 25 to 100. The donated posters, on sale now, are sold online in aid of Doctors Without Borders. Apart from the charitable resources the poster project generates, it provides designers with a creative outlet in which they can convey important messages and increase social awareness.

Marc’s uplifting design features a ‘Tap Tap Bus’ with hand rendered typography and focuses on the bond formed among the people of Haiti during the tragedy. The Haitian motto ‘Unity Creates Strength’ (English translation) reinforces the concept, Haitians helping Haitians. “The decorative nature of a Haitian bus made this the perfect vehicle to illustrate the message – Haiti will Prevail!”

Design, News : Winter 10 encompus teams with ProEst Estimating to reach new goals

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

For over five years now we have continued to manage the brand for ProEst Estimating, a national software developer for the construction industry. In the fast pace software arena making updates is a norm. ProEst is managing its growth through product development and brand awareness. Each time ProEst pushes its product to a new level we deliver the creative support. Top search rankings, qualifying partnerships, advertising campaigns, all securing high returns, it’s a win win! Prior to closing out 2009 we completed an identity update and produced some unique promotional SWAG: a golf ball with presentation box and an undersized football. Lets just say that at each event, they scored big!

Design, News : Winter 10 encompus gives the Healthy Development Services a brand lift

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Our ongoing relationship with the Healthy Development Services (HDS) and The American Academy of Pediatrics California Chapter Three (AAP-CA3) continues to grow. AAP-CA3 provides countywide coordination and support to the First 5 Commission of San Diego’s Healthy Development Services (HDS) project. Our latest engagement? To design a presentation package for AAP-CA3 organizational information and grant proposals. The custom presentation folder has set a new tone for AAP-CA3, providing a visual edge over its competitors. Using the existing AAP logo and identity guidelines, we remained true to their image yet pushed the design towards something unique and memorable. It was so well received, they asked us to update their business card to reflect the new folder design.

News, Quotes : 2010 encompus dives into the New Year!

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

Nothing stops at encompus. Our drive to close 2009 on a high note has given us little time to reflect on the past 12 months. As we all know, time stops for no one, including our clients, whom we are all thankful for. As we navigate through 2010, we can sum up 2009 briefly: our accomplishments have been measurable, we achieved monumental goals, overcame economic predictions, formed new relationships, and gained immeasurable knowledge. For all of you who have collaborated with us, thank you!
